GUITAR RECITALS
CLASSICAL GUITAR’S FOUR SUMMITS
Bach – Sor – Tárrega – Villa-Lobos
The guitar's literature benefits from the contribution of four composers of genius; Johann Sebastian Bach, Fernando Sor, Francisco Tárrega and Heitor Villa-Lobos. These composers were the subject of research and publications by Michel Beauchamp (Tárrega in 2009 , Bach in 2011 and Sor in 2017). Their best works are presented in these recitals.
Excepts from Prelude BWV 1006a by Johann Sebastian Bach, Sonate op. 14 de Fernando Sor, Recuerdos de la Alhambra by Francisco Tárrega, Etude n° 12 by Heitor Villa-Lobos.
ESPAÑA CLÁSICA, ESPAÑA FLAMENCA
This unique concert features classical and flamenco facets of the beautiful Spanish music. Alternating between his two guitars, Michel Beauchamp explains the history of this country and tells anecdotes that explain the oriental side of this culture so picturesque. Rarely do we get the chance to hear a guitarist exceling in both styles so convincingly.
Excerpts from the recital España Clásica España Flamenca by Michel Beauchamp - Fantasía Árabe Sabicas Fantasía X by Alonso Mudarra, Asturias by Isaac Albéniz and Soleá (traditionnal flamenco)
